NationaL DaY for Mi this YeaR!

This year i have participated many events that commemorate our country's 40 years of independence. Firstly its the NDP preview, then followed up by 2 dinners organized at the heartland areas, tampines and bedok...and on the day itself we went to tampines and disappointingly gazed upon the aftermath of the celebration where litter filled floors mark the end of the celebrations that dispersed islandwide.
Its the first time i participated in NDP dinners...the food isn't fantastic but its jus a unique experience that reckon us to think and treasure the peace and prosperity that we have earned hard...a yearly revival of our patriotic feelings towards our nation...at the Tampines dinner, i got a chance to shake hands with the Minister for National Dev, Mt Mah Bow Tan, and our Tampines constituency member, Mr Sin Boon An...haha dunnoe whether i spelt correctly anot...
On National Day itself, many retail outlets were raging with discounts, Breadtalk $1 for each bun, discounts all in name to celebrate the nation's independence. On that day, Dear and i met up at 4plus, we had an extremely late lunch at Sakura, which after, we went to Funan and he finally bought his long-wanted tripod and bag to contain all his camera accessories. After that we rushed home to have the KFC meal with my family.
At 10plus we rushed over to the tampines area which held the celebration, but it all ended...with chairs stacked up and workers clearing the disgracing remnants after the fun and excitement...Nevertheless this year's national day is memorable for mi indeed...
