A day i will never forget..

Finally I got my lower right jaw wisdom tooth surgically extracted at $725. It was more painful then expected...I get to keep the tooth..but a bit disgusting hor so i intend to throw it away...

4 jabs to numb the gums and some hacking and cracking to break it and get it out. I am given mc till 1 Jan, so i only need to report to work the following mon.
Soft food for now...perhaps can shed some kgs before the solemnization day.

Over the weekend, BB & i had..
- Registered for marriage &
- Confirmed a trip to Taiwan: 27 Mar - 2 Apr (Yippeee i have looked fwd to this..)

My Manager's away in Europe now, so things are pacing up at the workplace...

& I think this will be his last time swimming with me at night le.
Cos its freezing cold. But it really destressing :)

Its a long long time since i stepped here...

It has been some time since i updated...

Have been really busy with house shifting and im residing at my new hse now...
Still packing tho, it never seems to finish...

My schedules are almost packed for the next few months with 3 upcoming weddings, a few bdae celebrations and some personal time for my close ones.

Preparing for my ROM also, date confirmed to be 30.1.2010.
Many things to prepare...its certainly not cheap to look nice and my boy will surely agree with me on that...but he still give me the nods for things i want :P

Its work tomoro...look fwd cos its a 4 day week..yippee!

The secret revealed...I had never attended a Macdonald's bdae party and it was certainly an unforgettable one. 'Miniature' tables and chairs, Happy Meals, balloons, games.. reminising some kinda childhood experience long forgotten. Its back into the innocent and naive days! It was overall a good eating, sharing and photo session for all and especially our KACEE. Happy 26th!

At night, it was a cycling session with Dear @ Pasir Ris park. We went there with the intention to check whether the Fisherman Village was still there. However, since the bicycle kiosk only closes at 11.30, we rented a double bicycle @ $9 to aid our exploration of the changes there. Cycling at night is breezy and destressing.. cycled from 10 to 11.20 and we called it a day! I like the experience..Dear when can we go again :P

Mommy's Burfday! - 16th May

Celebrated mom's birthday at Suntec River Pearl Palace and so it was ala carte buffet this time...an indulgence once in awhile. We started at 6.30 and ended at 9 plus. Headed back home for the song singing and cake cutting session. My family had tried the Inniskillin Ice Wine bought at the duty free from my last overseas trip to HK and I think Dad felt that it was too sweet and I noe he prefers wine with a bitter after taste..I felt that it was sweet too, however it is better tasting than red wines :P

Nothing v much exciting.. sparse layout of shops with their own exceptional themes and I would reckon it a place neither interesting for its makan choices nor its shops. For movie lovers and arcade gamers, prob u have another place of hide-out. Redeeming factor - carpark is per entry at $2.15. So it can be the ideally priced carpark for a visit to Bugis, except drivers will agree like Dear did that the structure of it hmmm.. you have to experience it urself.

Its the weekend again..

Its work demands these days that are keeping me pretty occupied...nevertheless i can see myself learning new things like interviewing candidates plus engaging in a more management role.. things that happen always has 2 sides to it and it is certainly what you make out of it that makes you see things in positivity and derive satisfaction from it. Some how, I have learnt to pyscho myself to perceive things on the bright side since things arent gonna get better when engaging in complains cos its like an unhealthy and dangerous vicious cycle that will insidiously affect the people around you and yourself, so why not appreciate life and reward yourself to feel better :P does that justify my retail therapies..hehe

My Training Manager said yest:

"No Company gives out this kind of bonus this year. Know that you are working for one of the best companies in the world and by mid 2010, we are No. 1 Insurance Company in Japan."

These words made me appreciate my work more and find meaning in the workplace where everyone aspires to share the same goal in a consolidated approach.

Jia you for your v v final examination in your life. Give your best shot like you always did and the best will be installed for you. So dun worry about all things and leave it to take its course k. I will always support you in whatever you do.

Yesterday, Dear and I went to Expo which was raging with sales and I got 2 items which I thought were pretty good deals. A Cornell juice blender for $38 - "for the lazy people", those which you are able to place the whole fruit in without having to slice it and a Toyomi blender for $58 - this is the best deal I can get for a glass one, as other brands are priced at $90+.

I made the pumpkin soup for my family today. Sis gave it a thumbs up..

Time for a little rest...break from work

Hi gals, I haven been able to reply to your emails in the office..have been heaped with work and meetings lately...will confirm asap.

I need some boosters..a little exercise, a little shopping(and yes im goin Vivo with Dear after work tomorrow), a little rest to recuperate from the flu bug, a little time to slow down pace at work, a little space just for me(besides work), and a little thinking time...

Thank you for the hard work you have put in to orchestrate this romantic proposal for me. U really jerked me out of a sub-conscious mood that day and everything seems to be like a dream. I could still vividly remember counting down the Channel NewsAsia time panel to cross 12pm to wish U 'Happy Anniversary' and its off to dreamland..and to my utmost surprise I have a ring wrapped in heart shaped pandan leaves pinned so nicely(instead of a tasty roasted chicken which I expected :P) and champagne plus cake!

It seems that most of the resort staff knew it except me as they were beaming away and engaging in small whispers the next day, congratulating us. Jasmine the owner who collaborated with u really kept the secret very well.

It's a day every gal wishes for and what more can I ask for.

Thank you for taking care of me these 6 years and more years to come, cos i always strike kerb mah.

Time passes really fast...

Times of enjoyment passes real fast...

After the happy moments with Dear, its back to reality at the office, clearing emails and attending meetings. I hardly have any time to address the work concerns or even meet deadlines of tasks assigned. And thurs and fri im out of office again, attending a course on Business Excellence.

Back from HK..

It was an immense shopping experience with my best pals...Altho the weather didnt worked to our favor, we felt lucky that we had good weather on the very the last day :) Its was the first time we attempted to take public transport to and fro the Airport and we are proud to have done all that together. Nice job gals. We all have our fav and cheap buys that are real good bargains...

Downtown East & Changi Airport T3

Headed to Downtown East today cos we can hardly think of a nice place to handout... However we got quite bored of the place in like 30 minutes :P... hardly any interesting or engaging shops around and it rained heavily leaving us stranded at a tea house sipping Yam bubble tea while the rain subsides... Didnt manage to get a nice sun dress for our forthcoming trip to Batam...may keep a look out in HK.

Since it was still early, we made our first visit to Changi Airport T3. We managed to grab some good deals, as they have waived all GST charges, in addition to that, they are giving away complimentary carpark coupons and $5 off with expenditure of $30 and above. Sounds good hor..

Back to bury myself in books...

Im so looking fwd to my 1 week break from work...

It will be my longest break after 2 years and 8 months...
