At Expo

Had just returned from a double trip to Expo just in a day! First with my bf and bro in the morning and with sis in the evening to catch some great deals I had missed. I bought goggles, some taiwan snacks(which they have lots of it there, even "ah zhong mee sua" that we can prepare ourselves in the comfort of our homes), plus Hush puppies blouse for 10 bucks all at John Little Sale. Sis bought 2 pairs of heels, and many more.

The guys sure had their share of the therapy at Sitex too...I saw Fujifilm F50 and tried it at the fair. Apparently i was rather disppointed. Still prefer F31 in comparison.

But this month entails much unexpected expenditure. So happy that bonus i comin real soon.

My Living Environment

Feel lethargic... it has been real work...my record to leave work at 10pm on a friday a supposed nite for relaxation..I seriously think it will be my 1st and last time doin that. Luckily I still have an effortless ride home and that is really comforting.
Jus feel that work should not be excessively governing the way i live life. Nowadays, day and nitez..i have ISO in my mind. Sometimes i jus feel that passion for a job can be like a roller coaster, u have the peaks and the rock bottom times...But jus keep negativity abay and positivism intact.
I received this meaningful forwarded poem from Dear and it is really an apt description and an excellent juxtaposition of a hectic urban life vs the tranquility experienced in a peaceful, innocent, untainted mind. We should really slow down to enjoy this.
Slow Dance
This is a poem written by a teenager with cancer.
She wants to see how many people get her poem. It is quite the poem. This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a New York Hospital. It was sent by a medical doctor. Make sure to read what is in the closing statement AFTER THE POEM.
SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask
How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done!
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
