Back from Tw le..

Im back for a day le..busy doing the laundry and the drizzle isnt v comforting.

Just caught a movie with my parents 'Clash of the Titans'. Exciting enuff to keep me wide awake thru out..I prefer Avatar tho.

For the Tw trip i think its ok only(Verdict: Dear & I prefer HK)
Places worth a go..
- Jiu Fen
Nice & nostalgic old streets & i think the food that tastes better than XiMenDing. More unique like bbq mushroom, taro & sweet potato soup, etc..)
- Danshui Old Street & night markets
- Xinbeitou (We checked in the hot spring hotel for a dip)
- Zhongxiao Dunhua (Peddlars at night lined up the street with the latest fashionable items)
- Ximending (Ah Zhong Mee Sua..we had 3 bowls for the 7 days there)
- Historic sites (Sun Yat Sen Memorial, Taipei 101)
Other than the places mentioned, other shopping ctrs eg.Sogo were mainly urban shopping & for international brands, they are more ex there as compared to Sg. As for the food, Dear & I are not lovers of themed restaurants so we didnt go in search for any..And Dear didnt particularly like the concept of street food filling up our stomachs and he termed us as Street Fighters, having to frantically search for decent restaurants to have our meals. In Tw, most restaurants are Jap due to their history, being under the Empire of Japan in the 19th Century & we r not Jap cruisine fans. We deem street food as oily, unhealthy and unhygenic, however, since we r there, we obviously tried tw sausage, xiang xiang chicken & bubble tea..& verdict is so so ba..

The weather was pretty good..16 to 19 deg...that explains the good complexion that they have..envy leh..
